Some of you may be thinking, ” I don’t have a great marriage OR great sex!”. So what’s the point of fighting so hard to have a great marriage? Note to self: “great marriage” generally means great sex! The point is…God intends for you to be blessed with great success in your marriage AND in your sex life! Unfortunately most men have neither! In fact, more than half…again for emphasis…more than half….of all men have had some kind of inappropriate involvement with women outside of their marriage precisely because so many of us have believed the lie that great sex in our marriage is a lost cause!! And almost two-thirds of all men struggle with sexual addiction of some kind. It should come as no surprise that those addictions generally don’t include our wives!!
Those statistics confirm that you are not alone! But one thing is for certain, without Jesus Christ in the mix, success in this area of your life is impossible! If you’ve been trying to fight these issues apart from Him, I don’t have to tell you how futile your efforts have been! Plus…we must have the encouragement, support, and friendship of like-minded men if we are to successfully wage this lifelong war of winning the hearts of the women and children we cherish most!
Are you willing to face the issue head-on or are you going to continue to accept the current status-quo of your marriage and sex life as you now live it?! Are you going to do something about it?? Do you have the time? Do you have the courage? Is your marriage worth it? Are your kids worth it? If you aren’t married yet, you probably will be in the future. If your kids are grown, they will forever look to you for guidance in their marriage. No time is a bad time to be a man who’s willing to stand firm and fight to become a better husband so that, among other things, you can enjoy the best sex you’ve ever had in your married life!!
Get serious about your relationship with God, get recommitted to your wife, and start enjoying the best sex you’ve ever had!
